After a grisly murder from within Kindle County's District Attorney's office, the staff is galvanized over differing ideas of who is to blame. Stories of lurid affairs arise and friendships are shattered. The staff turns against one another as the case goes to trial.

As the trial progresses, theories are tested and tried. Corruption is a hot topic as well as questions revolving around sex and love.
